This sea-green gem variety of Beryl, fascinates generations for its royal softness color. And Brazil was blessed to have the most fantastics specimens found. In 1955 the bigest specimen was found near Teofilo Otoni , Minas Gerais state, and the best gems cut from it adorne the British Royal Jewels. Our unlimited access to the best mines alows us to cut the best gems.

Formado em arquitetura e com pós-graduação em design, RADU sempre foi uma fonte incessante de criaçòes artisticas e inovações tecnologicas que facilitassem a produção. Como cofundador do primeiro instituto romeno de design, trabalhou desde os tempos da faculdade com a criaçao dos mais diversos produtos, desde brinquedos a utilitarios domesticos e moveis. As primeiras joias do RADU foram em prata; eram aneis, pendentes e pulseira, para presentear a esposa e amigos , produzidos apartir de moedas antigas e com ferramentas adaptadas em um atelier improvisado dentro de sua casa. Era o tempo da cortina de ferro e tal atividade poderia ser severamente punida se descoberta; mas o seu amor por esta arte que alia a técnologia o impeliram a experimentar e descobrir sozinho este oficio. Ao emigrar para o Brasil, Radu se deparou com um mundo novo, com a liberdade da democracia, e a riqueza das pedras preciosas., agora era possivel dar vazão ao seu espirito criativo.
Since 1985 our family dedicate its time and efort to transcribe the colors and shapes of the exuberant Brazilian nature into pieces of art.
Our studio is a melting pot of ideas and techniques that can appear from a simple contempling of a flower to a complex exercise of forms anfd proportions.
To make a jewel we combine tecniques and tools that start goes from a traditional hammer handled wizelly to the most recent CAD techniques.

Living in the very heart of Brazilian gems production area give us the advantage to select the best precious stones directly from the mines. The stones arrives still dirty of earth , then we cut to get the best results. Next step we work the metals in diferent techniques to result in unique pieces of art.
